A typing race against a computer opponent over a shared passage, with both cars moving in proportion to how fast you each type. Opponents come at a range of speeds, and one of them adapts to yours, so the finish stays close whether you type at twenty words a minute or eighty.
Racing is useful practice for a specific reason: it puts pressure on without punishing a mistake outright. You cannot lose a life here, so the temptation is to go faster than you can type accurately — and watching what that does to your accuracy is a quicker lesson about pacing than any amount of being told.
